Sellier & Bellot Supported the Military Solidarity Fund on the Occasion of Veterans Day

2025/11/18

To mark the 200th anniversary of our company’s founding, we supported the Military Solidarity Fund by contributing CZK 200,000 (approximately EUR 8,250) toward the production of remembrance poppies as part of the charitable campaign “Czech Republic Poppy for War Veterans.” With this donation, we express our respect and gratitude to all those who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting our country.

On November 11, Veterans Day, Mr. Vladimír Rada, CEO of Sellier & Bellot, presented a symbolic check to Colonel Robert Speychal, Director of the Department for War Veterans and War Graves at the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, and to Colonel (General Staff) Jaroslav Knichal, Chief Chaplain of the Czech Armed Forces. The ceremonial handover took place during the traditional commemorative event at Náměstí Míru in Prague 2.

By supporting the Military Solidarity Fund, we are helping not only war veterans but also all service members and their families who find themselves in difficult life situations. We believe that the fundraising campaign, organized in cooperation with the Military Solidarity Fund, the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, the Czechoslovak Legionary Community, the Czech War Veterans Association, and the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, will provide meaningful assistance to those who safeguard our security.
